ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Gina is a born and bred Hoosier who grew up in Northwest Indiana. She lives in a small Indiana town that is peaceful and quiet and a haven for wildlife that live in the woods behind her house. Peace and quiet and nature are important to her because of the chaos in the world in which she worked for 34 years as a mental health therapist. She can’t change the world, but she can write about a world she would like to see. After she retired from mental health services, she thought she would create that world with her writing. She is an animal and nature lover and thinks all living things are God’s creations and that all forms of life should be respected.
Now that she is retired from clinical work, Gina is an AmeriCorps Service Member working at a local foodbank assisting in programs that distribute food to local communities.
Gina is also a loyal Chicago Cubs fan. Her mother was a Cubs fan and when she passed away, she picked up the torch.
She hopes you enjoy this book and that you look for the sequel she is in the process of writing now.
